Trick or Treating:
It was said that there would be 4 new items available. I've only found two new ones (guillotine and iron maiden) and two that are from last year (grim warning and skulls on pike). Did the count of "new" items include the ones from last year or am I just really unlucky on the other two items so far?
Also, the Excellent Iron Maiden and Halloween Guillotine are unusable and so tiny that they're practically useless as deco.



Hellhound Treats:
The way the vendor for this is set up practically screams "macro me". Like saltpeter, this temporary merchant needs to never run out of stock. As long as it is doing what it is, only scripters and maybe a couple of very lucky and obsessive people will get a chance to experience this year's event. I was under the impression that it was meant to be for ALL of us.

Well there was a post that had the inside uo info, and there was the chair in a ghost costume, which I assume will be one of the other rares. Maybe the colored webs are the 4th thing?

We had a group of 1 swordsman, 2 Tamer (1 was a disco/tamer), 1 archer, 1 myst/mage and didnt have much problems. Tamers die alot, cause they kept teleporting to the hellhound, but he was down pretty easy.
Later 1 tamer left and it became harder. I decided to not use my greater dragon to keep him discorded. I was killed to easy and it was almost impossible to ress me without getting resskilled. Took us a bit longer, but it was still not too hard.

Sampire can kill it...

You have to joust. 100% Cold Weapon + Flame Slayer Talisman.

With EoO and Honor I was landing for 50-80 with criticals of 120.

How do you get the ancient hellhounds? I tried to feed a hellhound before I tamed it and after and it did nothing. Does it have to be a hellhound leader? Do hellhound leaders even spawn anymore?

I am so glad I bought that Flame Slayer talisman the other day. I'm going to try the tali and a Soul Seeker (100% cold weapon). The 60 SSI should offset the Ancient's slow-down effect and keep me swinging at max. I just need to adjust some items to get additional DI onto the suit.

Oh yeah, that an actually get a treat off the vendor...

What is the respawn timer on this vendor? I've been sitting around for about 20 minutes and not seen anything but there's other people here too. I'm afraid I won't be able to enjoy participating in this event.

The 2 NPC vendors in the Ophid camp are gone, what's up with that?

1156 treats in my pack for 1 Murky Milk and 1 Halloween Guillotine. That doesn't take into account the tricks that have been played on me as well as my Evil Twin swiping some of my candy, so it's probably in the neighborhood of 1300+ Trick or Treats for the 2 items so far.
Before you all ask or comment, yes I'm using a GM beggar.
Once my arm recoups, I'm gonna go at it again.
