Landing lightly with a regal air about him, Oberon King of the Fairies approached the newly weds and gave a sweeping bow.
“Allow me to give you congratulations from the Fairy Lands.” he said with a smirk and a flourish of his hands and flutter of his massive wings.
Approaching the couple a low growl was heard as the Cerberus guarded its Master from the perceived threat. A glint in the Fairy King’s eye showed no fear of the creature as he kept his steps even and steady. Holding out a rolled parchment sealed with a soft glowing emblem of wax Oberon handed Persephone the invitation and backed away without another word.
Inscrolling the delicately engraved parchment Persephone revealed an invitation to the Fairy Court for a reception to honor the Union of Hades and Persephone.

All Citizens are Invited to Attend this Grand Celebration
Only briefly did Persephone even wonder at what sort of mischief the Fairy King would have planned she was so thrilled at the arrangements for the reception. Hades, on the other hand, was deeply skeptical. He was well aware that there was no affection between the Underworld and any of the other living beings, and Fae were by far the most conniving creatures of them all. There would be something Other planned to be sure!
