Guild Leader Gone?

My guild leader is gone (and has been gone for a long time), we hope she will one day return but in the mean time we would like to appoint a new guild leader but we have some questions concerning the Guild Leader voting system...

The rules set forth under uo.com state:

Guild Leader voting details and restrictions:

•Guild members do not have to vote for anyone, but they are still counted towards the total number of votes in the guild. Voting for no one is effectively voting for the current Guild Leader.

It say Members does that mean Ronin dont count?

•If a guild member becomes inactive, their vote is no longer valid, nor are they counted towards the total number of votes when determining a majority.

At one point do guild members become inactive? I have members/emissaries in the guild who have not logged on in years

•When a guild member other than the current Guild Leader achieves a 2/3 majority of the votes, they will replace the current Guild Leader.

Majorty of who? all members including ronin? people who have logged in during the last year? (we have over 60 members but more than half havent logged on in the last 6 months)

Ronins can't vote and can't access guild secures so they do not count.

I believe when you can't see them on the guildlist on uo.com

I believe of the active members, not ronins, they do not count. so if you are 30 active members, 20 will have to vote for the new guidleader.

did they say why they would be gone for so long or did they just vanish without a trace?

Majority of those who are A) active - ie listed in the guild list on uo.com
and B) Eligible to vote, ie rank of member and above.

So if, out of the 30 members currently active, you have, for example, 2 emissaries, 10 members and 18 ronins you have 12 guild members eligible to vote and need 8 of them to vote for the new leader.

Call a GM... he can change it for you.

OR...

One Emmy makes all ronins members, add everyone you can... and then vote.

However some guildstones are BUGGED and no matter how much you vote... nothing happens.

Reason behind this... too many inactive members that vanished into the past but their vote is still assigned to the current GM.

Most members vanished without a trace, they are still on the guild list but never log on...

Our guild leader we know why is gone and it sucks, we want her back!

What you should do is get an emin. demote all inactive "members" to ronin, then have a vote with the active members,

Yeah, I will do that, I am an Emissary...

Now here is my next question, why is Warlock ranked higher then Emissary when they have less power then Emissary?

I ask because in this guild I am 3rd in command so I got emissary rank, guild leader is guild leader (#1) and her 2nd in command is Warlock but he cant do ANYTHING with his limited powers

theres no way to get in touch with your GM?
they might not be to happy being removed lmao
Warlord is higher then Emissary because thats the person your GM trusted with your guilds Wars.....they can do nothing but manage whether your Guild accepts or decides to go to war against another guild

Yeah I text my GM still, she cant get on the game, because of issues I wont go into...her husband (#2 in the guild) cant play either so I would like to take over guild leader (I am #3 in command), try to bring the guild back to life and when she returns I will give guild leader back.

She wont mind as we are a very open guild, all the councilmen have access to each other's houses, actually one of my houses is used as a guild storage facility lol
