[Gardening] growth check

i know that to grow a plant it must be locked down, in a bank box, in the backpack or in the beetle you are riding.

BUT can i put them in sub-containers or must the plants always be in the main container to grow?

Subcontainer is fine on character and beetles, I use gift boxes for dark plants, and other containers (Red velvet box, baskets, backpacks) for plants of lighter shades. Last time I tried locked down in a container in my home... didn't work! I tend to forget about plants in a bankbox and end up with dead twigs so don't know for certain there.

must it be the whole time in one of that containers?

or could i after loggin in (growth check) drop the bag with all the plants i am carrying in a secure at home while i am doing other things. and before i log out i grab that bag again putting in my backbag. is that possible or would it interrupt growing?

nope, that works fine - just remember if you forget it and it goes through server maintenance, that can mess with the timing on the plants (cause they try to grow at server maintenance and realize that it's both too soon and they are in a secure - so they don't grow - but then won't be allowed to try again for 24 hours)
