First a lil info into y im going to train 1. Me and some friends have decided to run Khaldun champ spawn for masks. The first 2 waves of the spawn have skelemental which tend to be immune to all but 1 or 2 elemental damage types. Theres a few different types and they all have different resistances. The grizzled mare is unique as its elemental damage is evenly split 20% into all types. My hopes are to train one up so he can kill the skelementals and not have to worry about elemental immunities.

when the first 2 waves are completed then I can switch to something more beefy for the last waves and champ. I'd like to ask for any suggestions or ideas on this. They only go to a 3slot so not a lot of points too spread around

Take different type pets and you can kill them all. A Cu a Nightmare and a Naj covers all. Or use fire spells then you just need a Cu and a Naj or poison drake.

Im sure a 3 slot Grizzled can kill them.

I used my Macer with chivalry for the skeletons then brought in my tamer.

I've done a few different pets there and theres always 1 type that causes ur pet a problem. My frost mite does well against them all cept the blue ones. Those obviously have the cold immunity. My mite can kill them but I have to wait for him to use rune corruption. Armor ignore works too but once again ur stuck waiting for ur pet to use the ability. I have the pets I could just leave and come back to by pass the immunities but i'd prefer a pet to cover them all and only worry about switching out when u get to the enemies with bigger health pools.

Kill the blue ones with fire spells. I thought you were in a group. Nevermind.

im in a grp but that doesn't mean they are always around when u need them and my tamer is a bard so no fire spells......unless I use a fire horn but who does that?

My bard carries one and 100 regs when he gets ready. The fire hits all targets that are near.

My Disco/Tamer carries a Fire Horn and around 200 Sulfurous Ash. I let my FWW+PB Naja get surrounded by spawn at Dragon Turtle, and as he AoEs them down, i start blasting off the Fire Horn as well. It's like an AoE Flamestrike that doesn't split damage (unlike Meteor Swarm and Chain Lightning). Fire Horn is also useful for killing the Eels at Osiredon. The damage the Fire Horn deals scales with your barding skills, so my full Bard/Mage on Napa can deal quite a bit of AoE damage with a Fire Horn blast.

Answer: more people than you think! Haha I love when weird things most people dont consider being viable for use in the game have their little niche!!

After seeing some posts on stratics about people carrying fire horns, I started bringing one along, too. You may not always need it, and it may take a while before you even think to use it, but its certainly worth a hotbar slot in the EC!
