Grizzled Mare

Not sure which kinda of thread this is or if it should be in tamer or rares or trade i'm not sure let me know if i'm wrong for putting it here sorry!

I'm looking for a grizzled mare statue thing. I'm not sure how they work or anything, and if they're even useful after you claim it. I haven't seen any of these anywhere and i haven't seen people riding.
So my questions are:

Do they exist?
Where can i get one?
Are they like regular mares?

Yes they exist

Beldam peerless, or Monstrous Interred Grizzle peerless (same thing). Its a special drop.

There kind of like regular mares, they kind of work like the imprisoned Squirrel, Dog and Ferret, in regards to when you click on it for the first time it automatically bonds to you.

It can die and then you will need to rez it, like a mare. For its stats i don't know. If i would have to guess its stats are like a normal horse, just a guess.

If it were like a normal horse could anyone ride one, like a bard for instance?

Yes anyone can ride them and yes I believe they still stop

Yeah they still drop. Fairly rare though.

You might have an easier time making the gold in the SA lands, and then buying a Grizzled Mare for about 8m.

Thank you, haven't seen anyone riding them, or seen any for sale.
Any ideas where to find one?

grab an archer and 2 buddies and do griz a few times! you will get one!, ive had 3 drop in a months time

You get it off of a peerless boss. They do exist... they look like this.....

When you get them they look like a statue but you just double click on it. They are automatically bonded to you once you bring them to life.

This sounds like a much more fun idea, i'd love to give this a go, If anyone wants to do it on catskills i would give it a try, i'm playing a little on great lakes too but my character is about as good as an npc.

I've never fought the griz , How many buddies should i bring?

Honestly getting the keys can be the hardest part, A tamer with a greater dragon can solo it real easy. Just stand one tile behind your dragon out of the fire and acid and your in, Vet pet over and over and over.
