Greetings Siege

Old Time player (98-2002) coming back for some UO goodness. Am thinking of doing some type of Tamer/Caster template. Was wondering whats good these days and if it needs any tweaks to be viable on Siege?

Any advice is much appreciated, and I hope to see people around and say Hi!

Hiya and welcome! I too extend an offer of assistance. If you are a tamer and need help getting a pet, catch me in game and we'll get you a mare or something to start of with.

Also, very important, if someone kills you, don't run off immediately. Most here will rez you, give you stuff back, and send you on your way when they realize you are new. happened to me when I first showed up, and more than once. People are pretty groovy here til you get on your feet. Then you get to play with the Bo.

Tjalle. Was thinking primarily PvM at first to make myself some cash and get established, then soul stone to something different perhaps.

Personally I run one with Taming, lore, vet, magery, hide, stealth and ninjitsu. Decent PvM template with high survivability.
If you want more damage output I think Taming, lore, vet, magery, med and spellweaving might be an option. Or Taming, lore, vet, magery, music and disco.

I only play the first option so can´t really give you any tips on the two last ones but they seem to be used by a lot, at least on prodo, so I guess that means something.

Hi and welcome to Siege. I'm a fellow tamer too, but haven't settled on a template yet myself. Kind of a work in progress. Tjalle had some good ideas I might steal for myself.

Not sure myself. I don't know a damn thing about spellweaving, so I'll have to read up on that. I played a Mage/Bard back in the day, but he only had peacemaking and provoke, so no experience with discord.
