Is the effectiveness of greater heal (i.e. the amount of hitpoints restored) dependant on your magery or evaluating intelligence skill? Thanks

It scales, more magery more hitpoint healed. so getting magery to 120 does make a difference.

As was stated, magery. Eval is not factored in at all for healing spells.

I just wanted to comment on the fact that, yes, these are all the right answers.

Formula for calculating greater heal is as follows:

(Your magery skill times 0.4) then varies between 1 to 10 rolled to that randomly.

Hence if you were a 120 mage, your range to heal would be 49 to 59.
If just GM, then well 41 to 50 damage you could heal up to with greater heal.
