Dear Siegeians,

after only 7 months on Siege I am still very new to your great community. I refrained from throwing my hat in the ring because of my noob-status. I always felt that this job is something for an old buffalo that is loved by the community.

Today I had a conversation and I learned that the current governor of Yew has not much time to fulfil his duties and that he would be glad to find someone who would take over. Furthermore, I felt that it would be a great honor for me to work for the community of Siege, if you - the inhabitants - want me to do this.

Hence, I decided to run as governor of Yew if Reuggan would want me to do so and if I could be a help for him and - of course - for you all.

Sir John Hawkins would be pleased and honored if you would support him to become your next governor of Yew!

Ah, if you want to know my agenda: I am planning to offer 2 x monthly hunting-events for all inhabitants of Siege, regardless of young or old, virtue or vice. Yew shall become the starting point of shard-wide PVM-fun under my governorship.

I regard myself as chaotic-good, which I interpret as being on good terms with all, reds or blues, virtue or vice.

Yew is the city of justice, that's my attitude and I want to do the job for all of you who love the shard and enjoy having community action.

Arcane trade-deals will be continued, I am a follower of the arcane arts.

Please let me know how I can be of service, in case you want me to become governor.

P.S.: I want to clearly point out that I wouldn't have started this, if Reuggan would have wanted to stay in office. I am running with the support of Gilfane and I would have had no interest in being opponent of Gilfane in this very issue. So yes, I will act as friend of GIL - not as an opponent - if elected even though I am neutral and impartial in most regards. My motto is: Community, fun and friendship. And this is my attitude towards all nice people of Siege, regardless of guild affiliation.

Heck, I dont care for Minoc. It´s a dirty, ugly blue collar town of poor plebs, illiterate proletarians, thiefs and fools. Govern whatever you want - I would never want to have business with such a garbage dump of a town.

Yew, in contrary, has fresh air, the lovely shores of the oceans nearby, a fantastic nature and the city represents the strong arm of justice. So, please make your own Minoc-thread and have your own Minoc-party with your ragged followers and leave us nature-loving Yewians alone.
