I don't think I've seen a truly "new" player in Haven, or any other town for that matter, in many a moon. When I do, I am delighted to provide all that I can in order to get said adventurer up and running. There are few, however, that have ever shown an interest in some of the pixel crack that perhaps DVI might want to resell. Rich or poor, newbie or veteran, all are players wanting to have fun and enjoy themselves. I don't see a problem helping out either sect.

i dont blame you for assuming i simply intend to take it and sell it, im a merchant, but you could at least ask what my intentions are...

partially this gives me something more to do in game as being a merchant only offers so much excitement and pvp and pvm lost my interest ages ago.

in addition it gives me another avenue for helping people out. some of what i receive if anything will be sold, some will be given to community groups (if any exist, although im sure some do) as donations to help other players. some of the funds i receive from selling the items will be donated as well.

i like to be able to help out others when i can, i was once a poor, new clueless player and many helped me out along the way so i only feel its right to do the same.

but mostly it provides me with something new to do, and theres nothing as exciting as digging through other peoples junk! sorta like a yard sale...i love them!

Actually a surprisingly amount of [young] players in Haven recently have been new! Don't know where they find the game from!

could be people who used to play the old ultima games before it went online and miss them and do a search for it and find uo instead.

could also be people who crave for the days of the original nes and love 2d graphics heh

I was thinking more of imbuing "junk" I could "toss" your way. I've cleaned up a lot of old armor that was good but never quite good enough. I do keep quite a bit for newer players too so I have no qualms if anyone wants to pick up and help me clean up! Well done DVI

I may have to take you up on your offer soon as I have become a virtual pack rate. I hate to throw stuff in the trash can and now am out of storage in my (albeit small) house. Also I am not sure what if anything is worth anything to decide what can actually be sold on a vendor to make a profit. Do you (or anyone else) know of a good way to check current prices on items? Should I just make a list of what I have and post it on forums to getsome feedback on pricing/value. Then again maybe I get the "new" LS news team or some guild to help me organize an auction?

i cant state the name, but theres an easy way to find out prices on any shard at almost any given time (several actually). i would tell you directly but can not as it violates the stratics tos.
