Gorgon Lenses not working for me

I brought a Female Sampire template to Medusa with Gorgon Lenses. She paralyzed me & created an evil twin twice within the first 3 minutes. I checked an they Gorgon Lenses don't have as many uses as before I went in there.

1) Is this a bug? Because the lens uses are being subtracted but I am still being paralyzed.

2) Has this happened to anybody else? Have you guys heard of this happening to other people?

Gorgon lenses can be made from Dragon Scales, Medusa Scales (harvested once she is dead) and Medusa Scales (harvested when she is alive). The Scales harvested from Medusa when she is alive are the good ones. The rest will help, but are not guaranteed to prevent the paralysis and evil twin.

The lenses made from Dragon Scales and dead Medusa Scales are a dull light blue color. The ones made from live Medusa Scales are a bright (almost) invulnerable blue color.

It sounds like you got the cheaper version.

If the Gorgon Lens was made with scales from anything other than the blue Medusa scales, then they are not 100% effective. They gray ones that you get from her dead body are not as good as the ones you get from her while she is alive.

Yes as already stated.. Only gorgon lens made from Medusa scales that are harvested from her while she's still alive are 100% effective..

Gorgon lens made from scales of other.. dragon scales and dead medusa scales are 90% effective.

That makes sense. I have 3 sets of each kind (the dull blue and bright blue). Yes, I used the dull blue without knowing the difference.

Problem solved !! Now I'll give it another try.
