OMG way to be biased to just Siege!
Hey, why don't you start a babble thread on say...U.Hall...and open with saying that on Siege, even our babble is 'leet, compared to other shards.
Then again, babble threads aren't looked upon too kindly elsewhere...so I guess if we want to have one, here is the best place.

Can we do technobabble? I am experiencing rage issues this morning from fighting with a domain controller, solely due to colossal configuration blunders mainly related to drive partitioning and main application installations, made by the net admin (who I shall hereafter represent with: 
) that preceded me 3 years ago. I have been having to do creative "workarounds" due to these blunders since I took over, but the biggest headache came today when I was trying to deploy a new security suite. The workaround will likely take 4 hours of my time when I should have been able to create a client deployment package in a few minutes and push out an automated deployment.
The blunders made by would have been avoided by the most CURSORY review of the documentation, which only increases my rage.
If I encountered this morning I think the meeting would go like this:

Some years ago, when our children were at school, my husband witnessed a road accident and stopped to try to help. One of the vehicles involved was a camper van with several young children on board.
It caught fire, no one could get near it. My husband and others who stopped to help were forced to stand helplessly by hearing those children scream as they burned to death.

Here's the thing about the internet; while it offers a way for people to converse over great distance, adds the ability to craft well thought out responses, offers opportunity for a huge variety of topics, and has 24-hour world-wide access; it also gives a kind of anonymity to the writer that tempts many into having little in the way of conversational etiquette.
Because of this, some people post what seems like a fart during a thoughtful discussion taking place in the corner of a library. Sure there are places an errant fart may bring a laugh - there are many where it does not. Knowing the difference is pretty easy in person, but for some, finding that balance in the internet world seems difficult.
And some use the excuse of it being "just the Internet" way too much to flaunt behavior that would be completely unacceptable in their normal social surroundings as if there is no need to treat people with respect simply because they have no recourse if you don't. Extremes are rarely good.

Let me clarify. If you don't take everything you do the the extreme, you never learn exactly what your personal limits are.

My comment about extremes is in the context of Internet socialization, in that being a sensitive thin skinned cry baby looking for ways to be hurt or offended on one extreme or a completely insensitive callous jerk on the opposite end, just because one "can" are not pleasant. However, for the record, I do think that behavioral extremes in general pose more problems than benefits to the person who "owns" them and the people around them.Highly disagree!
