As the Ranger/Warden of the Abyss events start to end shard by shard (GL's is over as of today, LS's was yesterday or today, I am told) I wanted to say that I thought you did a good job with this event. There was fiction, it was appropriate to the event, there were rewards that struck a nice balance between rarity and unobtainable, there was reason to be interested even if the main goal had no appeal to you whatsoever.

I am looking forward to Magincia.

I agree wholeheartedly, even if they did mess up the announcement and mess up the information a bit (not making it clear how long Part 2 lasted), they apologized for both, which shows character. So I will wholeheartedly say that I am very impressed with our current development team.

Heck, it even spurred me on to use quite a bit of time to persuade those who cancelled their account, to reactivate again.

Yes thank you dev team for all your hard work on this quest. This was a great quest and I know that I personally got many people to join it. We spent hours collecting the keys for everyone to get a chance to run as many chars as they wanted through. You all deserve a round of applause!

Yes, very well thought out, very fair, great story. This is how quests should be.
I must say.. the new dev team after SA has come up with nice stuff. Halloween, Turkeys, Ranger quest... all were very entertaining. The Ranger quest takes the cake though.

I agree! I don't know if the idea was a group thing
or one person's idea but whatever, some really good
analysis was thrown in along with a large helping
of common sense! Damn thing was so fair I'm not
even the least bit upset I didn't win. Very happy for
those that did!

My objective view: very well planned and event that drew players out of their comfort zone. For the weaker characters, the event fostered teamwork and mentoring.
