Going criminal with Resilience when riding ethereal?

When I use Resilience in Felucca, I often get flagged criminal for no apparent reason - I'm not in a party, I don't have any aggressive pets/summons with me, etc...

This seems to happen in a reproducible way when I'm riding my ethereal hiryu. I don't become grey with Resilience when riding an ordinary horse bought from the stables instead.

Another similar issue is that I get the message 'Guards can now be called on you' in Trammel cities if I activate Resilience while riding the ethereal hiryu.

Definitely looks like a bug. Does anybody else have this problem with ethereals and spellsongs?

i havnt noticed any.

but i do have a ethy hyru and i can slip on and test it tomorow when i get on and report back

I noticed this with my bard in felucca, I was standing in guardzone and cast Inspire, next I know some reds that where close by came and ganked me. By the time I got ressed and back to ask if I was grey they where gone, but must have gone grey or something because guards would otherwise have whacked them. Didnt think much more on it until I saw this thread... Wierd.

i was able to reproduce this with inspire.

but what i had to do was the following.
i tested it just in fel, nothing.
i tested it in tram, nothing.
i joined a party and then had one of the party members GO GREY while ON MY SCREEN and i went grey.
if they went grey while off my screen nothing happened to me.

and a strange thing, i was only grey for like 20 seconds.
so it wasnt a 2 minute thing as far as i could tell.

(would like to thank all the people at the yew gate on Napa that i ambushed while testing this tonight)

ill go give the ethy hiryu one a try, just need to see if my bard on that shard can ride that ethy, haha

Well, reading the publish notes this seems to be working as intended. It's the same as 'casting beneficial spells' on criminals.

well..... i wouldnt say its as intended.

the first part of the bug, turning grey just cause your riding a ethy hiryu probablly isnt suppose to happen.

and i agree with ya on the other part, your giving your party member a massive boost with 22 HCI and 54 DI and 22 SDI (or whatever the numbers are) so i can see WHY it turn you grey.
but i dont think that its ok that just because you have the spell up and someone in your party turns grey you should automatically turn grey.
now if you put the spell on AFTER they where allready grey then your intending to give them the boost.
but if they loot someone off screen and your just milling around at an event or something, then all of a sudden your grey, ekkkk!

granted, if your in fel then you should allready be waiting for a fight to happen.
