oki so i wanted to upgrade my game to the lastest exspantion as i heard it is pritty good

then i did run in to a ton of problem
furst of all i tryed to order the game online in thailand imposseble grr

then i tryed to go to uogame store and upgrade failed to registarte my order i typed in all the info in the end corect and still unable to i mean wen i already got the acc typed in corect why dont it just bring up my info from that sight
just crap that i have to retype it in that other store wen its is the same company i am bloody paying

then i had a other problem wen i get the fail message it say to call ea costmor suport and type in 7 well that is for a other game and i dont see why in wolrd they want me to lissen to that crap pogo its cald now why would i need info on pogo if i play uo ??????????

then last but not least i tryed to call same number and type 9 for other games then i get to a sight that seem to only suport online help for a other game i dont want to even try i mean kinda pyramide sceam is this

do they want me to order this bloody upgrade or not ???????

all i want to do is pay for the bloody upgrade and play as i always do why do you guys have to make it so frustrating and anoying to give you guys money its like you dont want it or some

i mean i pay your bloody slalary here arnt i then let me for god sake pay and get done with it and down load the exspantion and be oki with it

but to be honest, I'm not sure what you want us to do. I have never had those issues when upgrading =( and when I call EA they have gotten MUCH better with customer support it seems.

did you try typing in the code again? sometimes it's really easy to mess that up.

Well, this is a player forum. I have no idea why you are having a problem. I have typed the code in wrong numerous times.

You need to talk to customer service.

Which is handled by a third party, so talk to them. No one here can resolve your issue.

give up buying from EA, just buy it from a website and enjoy your upgrade

There have been many problems with the uogamestore in the past and recently. Keep trying customer service and eventually you'll get through. Your post here will be seen by Cal or Zig at Mythic and they'll look into it. They've been very good lately at sorting out game store problems and contacting the vendor about issues players are having. Calm down and be patient. Yes it sucks. Don't take it personally the comments on the board here. They're just bored.

You are in Thailand and trying to buy from a US website. Will not happen. When Visa got hacked, most major credit cards stopped allowing overseas buying because they can't get thier money back. Email EA and ask them how you can get the code. You might have to use a money transfer to do this. Your bank to EA bank and when EA gets money they email you the code.

Might your ISP have had something to do with it? Some pretty funny things go on with ISP's in Thailand. And Frodo, not true, I still use my credit card there to buy my airline ticket back to the USA and it's Visa. Not all cards are blocked there, use mine all the time.

Agreed , getting the problem out in the open is a good start. And yes , staying on hold with support is obnoxious but unfortunately it's the only option. If there are others, I would sure like to hear it. Maybe a EA/Mythic "Holla @ us" web form where they can respond via email. The ea.support.com web site doesn't seem to work atleast from my comcast connection.

I don't think that ea customer support has an option for UO when you call now. I think that you have to choose another game and when you get a rep on the line you ask for a UO rep. My wife called a couple months ago regarding billing for our account and that is what she had to do since they didn't have an option for UO.

You press option 9 for "all other games"
I wish I remembered the number because the "contact support" link on uoherlad used to contain a 800 number was replaced with a support.ea.com cgi that never works atleast on my end. But not surprised ea support website is always down. Their game coding is in similar dysfunction

But, personally, sometimes I run into problems when using a credit card.

Personally, I found that sometimes using a "pre-paid" card rather than a credit card helped me in getting through a sale with less problems. Sometimes, though, it did not work either....

I have no idea whether this will or not solve your purchasing problems.

You could also try sending an e-mail to customer support explaining the difficulties and ask for their help if calling them on the phone is more difficult because of time zone differences.

well it is kinda strange as i use my norwegian debit visa card to pay for my uo acc but it will not work for uo game code

and this is a norwegian card and i got norwegain codes pin for it so if they only did let me use that i would be able to prove its me but sadly they dont so they got problem with
stolen card

i also use paypal and they have scam prevention if you read ther eula and i would gladly pay the exstra % to be able to pay with paypal i am starting a company and id read true and as long as you use verifyed paypal accs you are pritty safe and mine is werifyed
