Even good artifacts. With all the dungeons we have how long before oversaturation take place after every player farms them to death 3mo-5mo-10mo. Then the dev will have to come up with more and more and more till the end of UO. Any new expansions will make everything useless again. They need a self sufficient system with no carbon copy items which only means random mod items that are better and almost never the same as each other than anything that could be made. Self sufficient allowing to concentrate on the other aspects of the game, revives PVM every where outside SA and will only get stuck if there made useless.
Thats why I am wanting a large number of artifacts. I said 100 before, maybe 200 would be better. Not all of it has to be equipment, there could be other drops. I could have every current virtue artifact in a couple days of playing if I wanted to, thats what makes it worthless. What I am asking for would be enough that it would take a very long time to collect them all. In addition to having some drops that would be attractive to the newer player there should also be some high end stuff, several new suits(make them enhanceable ala runic tools, that should make it interesting) Also make some of it very rare, say 1 in 5000 drops would be a rather desirable item. That type of item is normally only affordable to the high end player, but now would be just as attainable a low end player or veteran alike. Stuff like that would help even out the balance of wealth.
Also 105 PS,+5 stat scrolls .1-.5 SoT, SoAs.
Better availability of the 105s and the +5s would make the better PS easier to acquire for the low end players.
An ethe that only lasts 200 playing hours, Awesome for a newer player.
Invulnerability potions, PVM only, duration:2 mins
Single items that had, say, 50 variations such as:
Liquor bottles, paintings, books( with new graphics),
There isnt alot of new players that can go out and get themselves a LT sash by soloing a champ, but this way a newer player could go out and while gaining skill, hunt earth elementals with skills in the 60s, and have a chance to make it big.
