Heres my situtation, im at 120 music, and 112 provoke, and i cant get it to raise for nothing, only ggs gains... Someone mentioned that me having 120 music is slowing me down on the provoke, i can easliy soulstone music if need be. Can anyone give me a idea on what might help me start gaining alittle better then where im at now ?? I'm looking to go to 120 with provoke.

It's been said a million times on this board. Going above 100 Music while trying to gain other barding skills is an absolute killer on gain rates. Stone your 120 Music, rework it to 100 and lock it. Then finish your provoking. It should go a lot faster for you.

From what i've read having music above 100 ill slow down skill gains. If i remeber right many suggest locking music at 100 and working up the rest of your bard skills, when music is above 100 the bonus gained will effect your skill and will make it hard if not near impossable to gain consistanly. So you might want to stone off music rework it up to 100 and lock it then go about working up provo. Hope this helps

Along with soulstoning, reworking and locking the music make sure your working provoke in the right skill level. Hyrus and Cu's will probably be the best for you. And it can still be slow
But not nearly as slow as with your music higher then 100.

I've also noticed an increase in skill gain by soulstoning all the skills I don't need at the time. Like right now I'm working discord to 120 and I dropped everything off me and only have music/disco/mage. Mage is so I can invis, so it will break disco and I can restart. So I'm at 315 total skill points or so.

Not to take a jab at the person who posted, but since it has been asked time and time again...

Would it be beneficial to the boards for a Locked Stickied Thread with the subject line Dont Go Above 100 Music!!! ... and then when somebody opens that post it can explain why not to go above 100 Music when working barding skills...

In all honesty, people get stuck and come to the bards in this forum for advice... many time out of frustration and searching for knowledge. This may be a way to help ease the frustration and duplicate posts... Just a thought
