Get rid of overwork penalty.....

The overwork penalty is set so low that every time I pizza I am losing my wonderful 1 ebuck skill bonus to about 1/2 of the pizzas and if I don't stop pick up some green or just wait for the pizza to time out the penalty goes up. When a pizza team makes 0 on a pizza because the overwork penalty is so high something is wrong. This is crazy. Why are you subjecting your players to this kind of abuse. Not every sim wants to do the mindless jamming for a living.

The way it is set right now, max jam is 520 ebucks a round, well pizza is somewhere around 400 ebucks a round.

The pizza payouts are so very low that it is really not worth the time doing it but I just fine that the lag is so bad in the jam houses that if I want a quiet evening with as little lag as possible I like to pizza. A sim has to eat you know. Then of course there is that darling cc chair I want.

The overwork penalty is just another kick in the behind to players. I don't care if it is because of botters it does not seem to matter to them since they are still botting away....so....GET RID OF THE OVERWORK PENALTY.....It just hurts your players.

And a good maze round is about 200. Avarage 100.

but you know what the answer is going to be --- the payouts are always fluctuating. so that's the way the economy of ealand is going to go now. guess they are trying to get it close to RL. although in RL it doesn't fluctuate as drastically as it does in ealand. it's hard for a sim to make any money.

The payouts have been set that way by TSO....They at anytime can up and lower the payouts. Just like they up and lower the skilling speed. We are getting poor payouts because TSO wants it that way.

Got to agree with ya, Its just humiliating to make a pizza worth 5 bucks and get a penalty of a buck taken from you.

Although making jams is fun with all the sims (meeps, peeps, avatars) enjoying the conversation...the lag is intolerable, and has been for some weeks...less I digress into that issue.

As I remember the penalty was introduced to control bots. Now the payouts vary on money items from week to week (looking up dynamic economy in my Economics 101 text book).

I think I need an official announcement so I will know what tso's "Money Object Of The Week" is, so I will know what the heck my sim need to do to earn their bread and repair costs.

Ahh... but I do have a SL account. There's no goal in SL. I still play but EA Land has goals, something to strive for. So, yes the CC (eye candy) is awsome in EA Land. I mean having a Gene Simmons statue is awsome
. I wouldnt have that if there was no CC :p

I've played SL too, and my goal is to figure the damn thing out...
I've no idea what the point is.

I play "The game formerly known as TSO" for entertainment and socialization, not to achieve goals... Okay, that's not entirely true... I do enjoy a good interaction once in a while, but that's another story.

Fact of the matter is, the economy is eh, object pays are down, and penaltys suck.

TTL = tagging to last, in otherwords you're replying in general to the idea and not to a specific point. Can also be stated as "TNOIP" or "to no one in particular".

Maybe a stupid question but are there ( suddenly ) also penalties for over work at jam tables? I have full cooking skills and supose to get $52 after finishing 6 jars of jams. Above my sims head it's saying $52 but all I get is only $10. Anyone else who noticed the same?

That is just great! I will test it out.

ETA:
I got the full $52 pay when I sold.
When I landed I received bonuses from ppl using my single money objects for $2 each. I thought the owner payouts were gone. Glad they are not.

hmm they were gone - and they were $1

Maybe they weren't supposed to be gone and the $2 is a lil bonus??

I'm not sure we ever got a Devs response on this, did we?

I am trying to find info about this on the forum but can't find any, nor ( I am blond lol ) can't find were to post / report bugs.

to start off i agree coompletely that something needs to be done about the penaltys with this stuff.... between my wife and i we have 4 accounts and we love too pizza.... the wife and i avarage doing 80 rounds and only make maybe if were lucky 400.00 per person and thats because of all of the 0.00 rounds of pizza.. you should not have too step back from the table but i almost think thats what one should try... (i know we are going to try it)

Now that we have Anti-Bot Measures in place, I think OWP should be eliminated so it does not interfere with the new method of penalizing botters.

There are no limitations in TC3. I did not see where they specified where they were. I just tested it with a free acct and there is no pay difference between free and paying. I thought maybe they had started limiting it. I also am now receiving a 100 a week bonus for my free acct in TC3. I hope that is intended.

I would lik to see the overwork penalty done away with. It never touched bots, the timing was just adjusted on them. It does affect us other players. We like to be fast and make more pizzas. We like to compete and still make money.

try again hun, once you earn 3k in simoleans you'l start earning garbage payouts, havent you see that 24+ page thread about this near the top of the forum? There are in fact new limits in tc3 you just didn't try long enough to find them.

I was talking about compared to my other sims. That is a limit that is put on all accts. I do not know if the cap is dif for the free acct or not. Pretty much I was just answering the question that was asked me earlier. About free accounts beig able to pizza. I have seen all the complaints here and on the wiki. Can't say I agree with them. The devs are still tweaking that. I suggest we give them a lil time before we freak out.
