Ok, I always hear people whinning on the boards about never having money and being poor and blah blah blah.

If you haven't done this yet - do it now.

Go to every US/Europe/Oceania (English based) shard on every account you have and make max characters. Log the dummy characters out at haven Inn. When you make them - make blacksmiths because not only do you get 1k gold but also 50 ingots.

Then everytime there are holiday gifts, log in all your chars on all shards and collect them.

Then go to the trade boards and find people on other shards that want to trade gifts.

Say your home shard is Atlantic. Trade with me on GL your 5 rewards for my 5 on atlantic.

Lets say you have two accounts with 6 char slots. There are 14 other english speaking shards besides your own. That is 2x6x14 or 168.

Imagine right now what 168 soulstone frags are worth on your shard. Or 168 of the 12 anniversary tickets. Or 168 heritage tokens?

Not every gift season gives gifts worth trading - but at least once a year there is one and if you trade em up - you can have millions on your shard without ever fighting a monster.

I logged into Atlantic to claim my 12 anni tickets and someone was buying them for 500k each. I sold him 7 of them and now I have 3.5 mil on Atlantic in gold. If I ever decide to play Atlantic - that is a nice gold stash to start with..... And PS - I have 30+ more left on Atlantic so if you want to trade for GL - let me know!

There is NO disadvantage to having the extra characters and you should do it NOW because for gifts the chars need to be 30 days old. If you do it now, you can likely benefit from Halloween gifts if they are given and definitely Christmas ones.

Well, I was able to trade the recent gifts on all shards except Baja, Lake Austin, and Sonoma. Cant find anyone on those that want to trade.

A person on Chesapeake took the ticket without giving me one.

I still have 3 soulstone frags on Lake Austin, thats a tough one.

Where were they supposed to give you a ticket? Holiday traders that don't follow through give our shard a bad name. I have a few chars on different shards, PM me and if I have where you need I'll trade with you. =)

The point was not to sell it but to trade it. I just gave an example of an alternative of selling it to have an easier start on new shards.

when heritage tokens were given out to everyone, i ended up trading for about a week straight and got 1900 heritage tokens little did i know their value would go up eventually so i sold a bunch at 100k per

I know I have at least 5 to 10 characters or more on every shard save Siege and Mugen... but you figure how many tokens I have. A few I have traded away and often do Xshard trade for tokens and things on GL's...

So yes there is money and gold to be made at it.... I'm sure i have a few of the soulstone fragments on several shards... and heritage tokens.... and numerous other things.

You are of course correct and I don't mean to discourage these public service educational messages you give every so often ... I'm just pointing out that things that are effortless and comfortable to a successful merchant might not be to some of us out there.

You missed...
Login - collect. Your right easy.
Then post its for trade or stand on that shard and spam XSHARDING.
Then wait for response.
Then pick time to meet up.
Then swap them back and forth.
Then post or stand spamming.
Then wait.
Then swap.

I agree you can make gold. Im not sure what the easy part is.


For me...
Spam... Buying 12th anniv tickets 400k.
A guy gives me 20.
I give him gold.
I sell them.

Lot less work.

But as for getting items that you can make money off of... your 100% right.

However, its a bit of effort to get them to 1 main shard. I take it that what your saying and not that everyone plays 15 shards on each account.

Just thinking that using that tip the amount of anniversary tickekts will be very high so...
I think that people buying them for 500K is making very bad bussines.
so your suposed mega tip to make a lot of people rich is just a tip to make anniversary
