Gathering of the Guilds - December 2008

The Gathering of the Guilds has come and passed. This turned out to be a huge event. I've never attended any of the past ones, but after seeing this one, I will be sure too attend any future ones. Credit for organizing the whole event goes to Mystra the Great Lakes Stratics Moderator and Member of the Fishing Council of Britannia (FCB).

Mystra was at the entrance greeting everyone who entered.

The following guilds had booths set up, included is a list of with members that were in attendance at the time of the screen shot. Note: Most guilds had more show later, these pictures are mostly from the start of the event.

Overall the event was a blast, I believe many people seeking a guild found one, many got to see what guilds like BCC, CFC, MOA do event wise weekly for the shard, and everyone got to just relax and have fun meeting new people. I look forward to the next one real soon. To all who attended, I believe Mystra said it the best....

I think we found a new Great Lakes reporter.
What a detailed report and it did the event Honor .

I would liek to add some of my own little notes....
Thank you to all named above for coming out and showing people why Great Lakes is the only shard to be on ! Every year I think to myself " Should we do it again ? " And every year we come out in numbers that make GL Proud, makes it worth the effort for me and all who participate.

Thanks to all who gated , Persephone was relentless and burned through many spells to make your travel much easier. W-R , G-V and GOF also had gater Reps whic are appreciated.

As always, it was a fun event to attend with everyone. It fun to go to each of the other guilds and catch up with everyone. We cant wait til next year!!
