[Alchemy] Gathering Nightshade

Santiago

Visitor
Is there a more efficient way to gather nightshade than wandering around looking for it on the ground? A specific monster that is more inclined to drop it or something like that? Obviously, I could buy it off of merchants, but I'm looking for a more cost efficient method.

I think some of the gazer mobs drop it but only about 2-5.

Otherwise, juka mages drop bags with all 8 regs in larger quantities, and the stronger ghost-form (wraith, spectre, etc.) have 10 of a single random reg.

Poison elementals carry 4 nightshade. Treasure chest carry regs, random kinds tho. You could also grow bright green snake plants for the green thorns. When you plant the thorns in dirt (roads/ unpaved city streets (Jhelom), or randon dirt patches), regs sprout.

If I remember correctly, poison elementals damage your equipment, correct?

Not sure about the poison ellys, I know the acid ellys and slimes do. I usually fight poison ones with my mage. I thought it was just the ones with acid.
