Any wonder for the first few years of my computing & game playing I searched stores for just 2D games & mostly played only Ultima Online? Got this baby in 2000.
This was a nice computer despite the fact it wasn't very upgradeable without having to do a lot of searching for parts. It could only max out at 512MB RAM. It came with Windows ME & because it had a DVD-ROM drive I was fooled into believing it would be a great first PC.
Unfortunately on one trip to Gateway Country store to get it fixed, they formatted the hard drive because I forgot to tell them how to login on it. Jeez! Thankfully I made a couple of backups, not alot. Years later, the store itself is gone.
Anyway, in the middle somewhere is my Dell Dimension 4600. Not much to say about that one. She's running slow since I got a virus in her. I'm doing a full virus scan with AVG 7.5 ATM.
My newest computer I bought with a credit card for $600. It's a Dell Dimension E-520. A week after I bought this computer, Walmart had new E-521's on stock for $500.
