this...and I would go so far as to add that altering these is not that great of an option. better off just runic kitting some gargish goods, you will be much happier with the results.

none, and none. well, not quite none. Theres this one kilt thats pretty sweet now..
mystic guard shield is pretty whack..
The only way to go, as far as i can see, is making one of those boomerangs with -20 mage, no neg, 25 dci.
The only arty worth building a suit around:
Summoner’s Kilt (Gargish Cloth Kilt)
Casting Focus: 2%
Mana: 5
Mana Regen: 2
SDI: 5%
LMC: 8%
LRC: 10%
Physical Resist: 5%
Fire Resist: 7%
Cold Resist: 21%
Poison Resist: 6%
Energy Resist: 21%
Then build a set of jewels with appropriate casting, ep, dci, sdi, and mage bonus, Ring and brace. alchemy tali, and voila!
I'll probably break down someday and actually build this stuff. . . .

The kilt drops on the [Renowned] "bosses" at the mini champ spawns in the Abyss. Also drops on Navery in the Underground.

um, well? I think you can just start it from scratch.
make an exceptional boomerang, sc it (which includes adding a +1 casting), mw it, and i THINK you can go ahead and jack the dci up to 25.. simple as that.

couldn't wait to finish my imbuing to have the wep lol..
Thanks tesla..even though we have had our differences recently he helped me make what i was trying to get done and charged a fair price... i would recommend him to anyone for imbuing

that, with the tali,
gives 20 mage, 35 EP 45 dci with yr weap.
max sdi.. I think you could actually go ep 10 on the brace and go full 40 ep.

imo im better off like i am..50% HLA at a range swinging as fast as a boomerang does should make me get hit much less
and orni actually puts me at a point where i have too much lrc/lmc etc so i can take pieces off and switch them out for high stat/regen pieces

Ah , thanks for that information.
The only problem with a throwing mage wep is that when you are either close or far...that DCI bonus does not exist (the penalty takes your +25 dci and makes it negative). The only place the dci will do you any good is if you are in the *sweet spot*.
You are better off with a one handed -1 mage wep with hit spell and HLA.
Throwing is too dang confusing. I was planning on a mage boomerang, but this business with reduced hci and dci is making my head spin. Sweet spot my @$$!
they are not worth the trouble...
there is no DCI penelty for not being in the sweet spot just HCI and im not relying on it to hit anyone so it works perfect..
the only dci penelty i can find is if you use a shield along with the throwing weapon

huh...alright...I am not beyond admitting being wrong.
Thanks for the clarification on the subject...this must have changed since playing in beta.
now if they can ever get armor up to snuff, and add faction gargoyle stuff...mebbe I might just bandwagon.
