Bioware Mythic announced today at their UO Town Hall 2010 meetup in Fairfax, VA in the headquarters of Mythic Entertainment (all owned by Electronic Arts) the latest “expansion” for Ultima Online (UO), the venerable grandfather of the modern MMORPG (and herald of the MMO movement in general). After what had to have been somewhere around a decade, the development team for Ultima Online answered years of fan requests by announcing that their latest game-boosting expansion would take place on the high seas of Sosaria. The announcement came with some interesting news that is certain to bring at least one question.
