Game Window Resolution on 2d

Hello,

I've been trying to play the game using the 2d client instead of the new UOKR, but one gripe I have is that the game window is too small even on 800x600 setting. On UOKR i can resize to whatever I want, but in 2d it seems like the only thing I can do is scale my desktop down from 1200x1024 to something lower everytime I want to play UO. Is there any better solution out there?

You can always play full screen in 2D.

Thats true, but its nice to have the UOA display bar at the top. Not having to alt-tab to see when I have chat messages (ICQ MSN AIM etc) incoming is nice too. I guess I will just go with changing my desktop resolution for now.

I have an ATi card and use it's control panel to alter resolution quickly. I normally run my wide-screen at 1440x900, but drop to 1024x768 for UO with the 800x600 windowed .. and use UOA as well.

It's a pain in the rear, but something I live with sonce KR still manages to not really work right for me. <shrug>

It would be nice if they did an update to the 2d client to support larger screens these days.
Back in the day a 17" is was good. But now people (like myself) have 21 or bigger monitors which we (I) run at 1600x1200. And dang that UO client screen is so small in windowed mode.

Please for the love of .... (you get the picture)
Add support for 1280x1024 game window
Or even 1024x768 game window, for windowed mode.

I totally agree with the size of the game window being too small. I have a 24" widescreen and would love to see the 2D version able to work in higher resolutions.
