Game Masters..

Okay not sure if this is the right place but i take a guess..

How am i suppose to get in contact with a Game Master? Here is what i do:

Help > Other > Other > "Types in the matter i wish to discuss"

Problem is i dont even get a queue.. it sais "The next avaible Counselor/Game Master will contact you" and thats when i first send away for help. After that, nothing.. Sat for 5 hours without anything..

Hmm, never heard of "talking" or "discussing" matters with a game master. Usually they only assist with problems.

What are you needing them for exactly?

They don't really assist with problems either. Most times you get canned responses
They are ea buerocrats that's all.

Depends on the problems I guess. The few times I've actually had a problem they've always helped me.

Sometimes it's easy to miss the little button that appears top left screen when they send you a message.

Let say its about an item who have become illegal to have? Or stuff fallen under the house (Happend to me several times in the past)

For stuff falling under the house, get a necro and summon a horde minion... the minion will pick up the random items there if the item is unlocked.

If it is an item that has become illegal to have, then do not page a GM or it could result in a mark on your account. Either hide it away if you really want to risk keeping it... or let it decay. I used to tell folks to use a trash can, but not since there is a chance that it could end up in the cavern of the discarded. I would hate to get someone else in trouble.

I'm thinking EA wanted all (15) of their MMOs under one roof, so Mythic teams for UO, DAOC, Star Wars, Warhammer, ROM, etc,may all be in the same studio. Maybe the Customer Service Representatives are all just very busy with all the games they now cover? and maybe there's a priority for the games? I think UO doesn't come first anymore, especially since it's not their Flagship game now.
They say they have "exemplary customer service delivered by a talented staff of more than 200 people" you decide

Definitely prioritize their service. They actually had a presence in warhammer when it came out, even though it sucked overall and now, by some reports, has less players than UO.

I'm guessing our GM support will go down even more when star wars comes out.

stuff thrown away can end up there before complete decay, could be anything, maps made in training skill, Dye tubs, Bods, weaps, clothing, house cleaning, pretty much anything

Whats Cavern of Discarded?

The Cavern of the Discarded is an area in the Stgyian Abyss dungeon with three ratmen spawns. There is a chance (I think 10%) that any item thrown into a trash can anywhere in the game can end up on the ground in the cavern rather than being deleted. I guess it's UO's version of recycling...

Well maybe i should equip my "Growing Tree Project" robe and head down there and hope to save Sosaria aswell from Global Warming?

I just seen a GM at Luna gate on Atlantic.I said hello but He or she didn't reply back. The GM just went poof! If this was old GM they would of said hello and Farewell thee and burst into flames lol.
