Am I out of the loop, or is this 'dwarven threat' that they're sick of news to anybody else?

Has the word "dwarf" ever appeared in UO canon before?

I'm not against introducing things, but just pretending they've always been there rubs me the wrong way....

I only made it to the first event, but what happened was some dwarves came up from the Underworld and had done some mining out on Ice Isle, a kid from Moonglow who used the telescope a lot saw the blasts from across the water, dwarves found out he had been talking about it, came and kidnapped him.

And that's how it started. I didn't make it to the Orc event or Minoc mine one.

An Emerald Dragon did turn up in Minoc a few weeks ago. Part of the problem caused by the Dwarves.

I'll try to be on a PvMer...I did the end story line boss on Cats not long ago. They are rough. They make a Mel seem like cake.

I did a couple of the mini events from this Dwarven event

All of then were quite fun....though it seems like Siege at times forgets how to pvm and we all have trouble killing the creatures that turn up

The first event everyone did really well once we found out the thing was a Lord Parax duplicate. I'm going to try to make a tamer/bushi archer for tonight to maximize damage. Any PVM groups wanna ally?
