Fun things to do with all those water pitchers!

Ack! It seems that the benevolent Stratics overlords have eaten my words on fun things to do with all those water pitchers. Since a few folks begged for it...dang you GM beggars...

Well, well, now you must be asking yourself, "self? what am I gonna do with all these pitchers of water that those elves in Heartwood gave me? In fact, WHY did those elves give me all those durned pitchers? I mean after the first couple... Yea I was a little thirsty, but come on!" Ok, well my lil beggar friend, let me share with you my water pitcher adventures.

To start off, you probably figured out that if you hold onto those left-handed pitchers long enough (through server up or sooner if lucky), they change their name from "A Pitcher of Water" to a "A Container of Water". That is might odd indeed. Good to know...we'll use that.

The begged empty but full Water Pitcher

Yep, you got that right. Lug those water jugs down the Alice-in-Wonderland hole in the ground and find the Solen Matriarch area with the Water Vats. There is a little know secret there... well only if there are filled water barrels down as well. If not... you can stop reading buckaroo. If there are, empty your jugs in the vat. Well, shoot now your jugs are empty. Wait a minute! Fill them up with the filled water barrels. Yup thats right, it should have given you a message "You cannot gather water here." But the gods shine on you tonight, cause them jugs is now empty and blue! Remember to grab a left and a right jug.
The begged pitcher of Cider, Ale, Wine, and Liquor

Ok, this time head off to your favorite pub. I fancy the Albatross in Occlo, been going there for ages. Anyhoo, key your eye on the bar's stash of barrels. If you get a chance, peek inside. If you see bottles of brew, you are in luck again! If not, you may want to switch establishments ;) Ok, now take one of your empty water pitchers and target one of them there nice full bottles in the barrel. You just made your own. Now if you don't wanna wait for those lil bugger Heartwood elves to supply you with begged wine and liquor, heck make your own this way!
The begged pitcher of Milk

Still reading eh? Ok well as long as your at your favorite pub, buy yourself a pitcher of frosy milk. Ya, go ahead and fill a pitcher or two of milk.
The begged pitcher of Sake

For this one, you need to put on your finest and make your way to the far way town of Makoto-Jima in Tokuno. Wander up to the northwestern corner by the famous bridge. Now go ahead at use your pitcher and target the water. Thats right, go on. You see, these lil buggers have an endless pool of sake hidden here in plain sight. You should see the crowds when my buddies from the Albatross stop by on a Saturday night *hic*
The begged pitcher of Mistakes

Remember the wierd empty but not empty Water Pitcher? Well, turns out you can create mistakes. Can't really give you too many details here, but Ol' Astryl has managed some bizarre bottles. I've seem to acquired pitchers of water that look like cider, containers of wine that look like water, sake that looks like wine. Pretty much, I think I have a wierd combo for most things. Guess I'll save those to drink on a really rainy day.
The exploding begged Liquor

Ok, for this one take one of the extra pitchers of liquor you are hoarding and use an oil cloth on it! Yup, now when those sneaky Heartwood elves get all stingy-like, let them get a glimpse at ol' sparky the begged firebomb. Muhahaha.
The exploding begged Murky Milk

Now this one some folks may not be able to do. If you happened to get lucky enough to get a halloween gift of Murky Milk, its time to use it (since we know its too ugly to drink). Ok, well first things first. You need to drain the grey goo from the pitcher, then fill it with liquor. Finally use that ol' oil cloth on it and BLAMMO! Heck, as long as you got a few spares... head over to the sake fountain for a wierdo grey pitcher of sake.

And finally... remember all those empty begged wine bottles those mean 'ol elves have given you? Well get your revenge by filling em up at your favorite watering hole or sake fountain as well. I gots me a whole collection of bottles to match me pitchers. :)

Welp, now you are ready my beggar soldier. Bring back your adventures, and make pitchers less watery!

If you become a friend of the solens, begging is a quick way to get the water for the quest AND leaves you with the empty pitchers to decorate by refilling.

Plus, I've noticed that pitchers (all the same handle facing) look neat stacked up, so you could make "columns"/"poles" of them as deco - refilling them with different liquids for different colors.

Hmm ... doesn't seem to work anymore. I only get back pitchers or containers of water. Or am I doing something wrong?

Hehe ... just tried that "water" in the pitchers ... it makes me drunk *grins*

Now, even if it doesn't tell you what drink the pitcher is really holding, it's still an improvement.

If your like me and can't aford to buy the milk. You can always milk a cow. Lord knows there's enogh of them around. Just double click the pitcher, and target the cow.

I just made a begger the other day for Halloween. She went and hired 10 Rangers and invited them to her house. The room was small, so she just decided to give them the rest of the day off and collected the 20 arrows each that they so kindly dropped for her. But, then she thought, she provided a days pay and all the food they could eat, so she began asking them for extra change. I just pulled up all of the tags and made a macro of begging to each one. I sat back and watched my macro run, clicked the button to make it run again, and again... in not too long, my begger was rich. It was a little boring, but I loved watching her gains go flying.
