Im not saying your items are fake but now days its pretty easy to fake that... with all the dyes around. I cant remeber very well but i think ingot colored dyes were dropped during the second treasure of tokuno event.

Well I have had this set for about 8 years, so I think it was probably before the tokono dyes and I honestly in all my rares dealings and trading and in and out of houses, I have never seen another and I don't think the tokuno comes in verite?

I would have had to be out of my house to get dyed So no one actually knows yet That is why I have always kept it for years. Come on old smiths, help me out here.

I think the problem is the plant dyes now. They can replicate a lot of stuff out there. One example is the black hally that dropped early in the 2009 yr can be 100% duplicated threw plant dyes. Only way to tell is to buy some plant dyes and see if you can replicate it. You wont be able to replicate verite with tokonos.

The halberd had no special properties, so its still discernable (since you can't dye stuff without special properties or material).

You can go to a npc smith and buy a plain hally with no special properties and dye it exact color as event hally with plant dyes. I have one that is from event and one that I dyed from npc and they are exactly the same.
