Friend of mine logged into his account and a character was deleted

what can be done to bring it back? passwords changed also incase it was hacked or what not, im guessing it was a glitch cause i dunno why a hacker would simply delete a character and take nothing

if a char has been deleted..i dont think theres anything that can be done..on the return to britainna spill, i logged into a old old acct..and found ALL my chars were gone on one shard..but others on other shards still there. Sad too..cause my banks were full of old goodies..was a 92 month acct. I know who deleted mine..but there was nothing that could be done about it. sorry for you friend. and youve seem to hav done the best thing possible..changing passwords ect..

If it was their 7th slot character, have them relog a few times. When the login servers are acting wacky, the entitlements get screwed up. So his account may have been treated as a 6 slot account for that particular login. Haven't heard of this happening in a while, but it used to happen a lot.

nope he wasn't, welp good old uo sent me their automated message, i don't understand why they can't bring character back once deleted, if blizzard can do it for their customers that play wow, why can't EA for uo... its not like EA is a low budget company...

Lost my very first GM'd char back in 1999 when GMing was a heck of a feat and support was better...didn't get mine back either. In disgust I've never mined or smithied again.

Maybe if this game was really popular and had tons of players the story might have a happier ending.
