I love that game, even though it has more bugs than any game I've ever played and tends to crash about every 30 minutes, it's still really fun to play it sometimes. It's sitting next to me in it's "Dragon Edition" box with the cloth map, ankh necklace, and a bunch of other stuff it came with.

Lol, I started playing U8 before the first patch, when trying to jump from stone to stone made you want to put your fist through the monitor and the mighty avatar would get stuck trying to walk through a door. Trying to place those reagents just right in the corners of the pentagrams was also a major pain in the ass. But it did have a nice, creepy dead-things atmosphere that kept me involved, and I played it to the end. Good memories, all the old Ultimas (even U9 had its good points).

Ultima 8, door frames, and jumping....good times.
