Flying Broom Not Expiring

Has anyone else noticed that our flying brooms are not getting older? Mine still says...

Expires : 14 days

I've had it 13 days already.

This has been discuessed in the Official Forums...you actually need to RIDE the broom for /played 14 days...in other words, it could last until next year, depending on how much you use it.

Everything that has a day count on it like this works the same way.

Do you mean like 14 calender days? Like if I sat on it 11-1, its gone 11-15? Or do you mean 14 days of playing time?

I feel stupid I could have sent one to my druid who's about to hit 40 &gt;.&lt; Oh well.

That's the one, or to make it clearer, 14 days of actual time riding on the broom itself. so you can have the broom in your backpack, riding something else, and it still won't count toward the 14 /played time, unless you're actually riding on the broom.

the brooms are a new thing that was just added in as a little flavor in the recently passed Halloween event.
