Flagging process for battle chickens?

Hi all -

I've been fighting battle chickens with friends, and we're having some trouble getting non-guilded friends properly flagged so that the chickens will fight.

Can anybody explain the steps to get an unguilded player's battle chicken to attack a guilded player's battle chicken? All people in question are in Fel and are blue, not red.
