Fixed The Turkey Nest Bug Quick

Yesterday there was a big bug with the nest you find with the map, Its good to see it got fixed... Anyone else figure out this bug?

Yeah, the nest kept reappearing if you used the brush. I know folks who got like 200 cornucopias this way.

Me, I barely had enough storage space for 1, so as the mohel said its no skin off my nose.

The only thing that did was make cornucopias unsellable. I was wondering why I didn't see any for sale at the bank last night. I know they weren't dropping all that much so I figured they were just very rare.

We have the following Bug Fixes for you this morning following yesterday's launch of 62.3 on all live Shards:

Bug Fixes

•Giant Turkeys no longer teleport into houses
•Fixed an issue with cursed parchment will be deleted on login
•Fixed several exploits with Turkey Nests
•Turkeys AI was adjusted
•Fixed an issue regarding the top twenty (20) Turkey attackers
•Attackers on the aggressive list must be within 50 tiles of the corpse
•Unstabled Chicken will no longer be kicked from players houses.


That was quick.... the quickest I think I've seen anything fixed before.

that was pretty damn fast, makes you wonder why it took so long to fix the bug with the puzzle in the underworld to get a bunch of 3.0 transcendence scrolls

Hmmmm, little faith mayhaps in the new team? Surly I'm not hearing that?!
lol I dont know if its because there is a new Dev team or not, if anything maybe its our beloved Dev's that are still with us after the lay offs that fixed this.. regardless, its nice to see it fixed in a timely fashion.

Also, a little OT... if we do have a new community cordinator and/or new Devs.. maybe they should say Hi, I'm so and so and introduce themselves to the community... just a thought.

I don't think I want to thank the AI Guy!

I just chased down a pair a provoked turkeys from the the skara farms to the Trinsic swamp before one of them died.

Just about every time I e-bolted the discoed turkey, it would tele-port a few tiles east.

The problem is we're not always able to publish as quickly as we would like to. The Puzzle room fix had been done for a while but we couldn't publish it without risking breaking a lot of other things. And I can assure you, disabling the functionality daily was no fun. But sometimes, the stars just align right. Had we managed to publish the turkey nest fix yesterday as we had hoped, the stars would have aligned perfect.

UO's QA team amazes me...i do this kind of stuff on an Oracle platform and if we had these kinds of bugs during releases, I would be out of job

Had a turkey today permanently crossing the serverline. So with two people one on either side we killed him, but he died on the other serverline and I got no looting rights. Must be a bug as well?

Not certain, but I think this would be another of those instances where we the players think we are smarter than the dev team.

And they devs are saying, "You're so sly, but so am I."

EA needs to start giving our rewards for players that time stamp the first bug. Something significant. This way people dont rush to find exploits and hold them till its published.

hhhrrmmm, they did do something like that at one point. Have not heard much about player rewards lately. Either for bugs and exploits or referrals. I have a code I am not even using atm, just holding. I have all that stuff.

Rewards choices need some love after 5 years and these programs,both of them, need some promoting especially if we are running with a smaller, albeit obviously capable team.
