Fix Needed: Bypassing Losing Points & Stat Loss

With more people in factions now; I am always fighting. It seems the new "LOW" tactic is when you get below 30 hps; click a trapped box that has greater explosion on it; and kill yourself. It bypasses all point & skill loss.

I normally wouldnt care but correct me if I am wrong..

Isnt 'Committing Suicide' suppose to put you into stat?

Isnt clicking 'Your Own Trapped Box' to 'Kill Yourself' suppose to be committing suicide?

Please put a fix in for this soon!! Thanks.

Pretty sure it does put you into stat, but no kill point loss. Hasn't become too big of a deal at least where I play.

I'm more concerned about the complete lack of enforcement against speedhacks.

No; its tested. Box death does not put you in stat. You are welcomed to try it out yourself. Quite an annoyance; and an obvisious work-around for stat loss & point loss.

This is something fairly new then. Probably a bug overlooked with the changes.Was training remove trap couple weeks ago and when I accidently would blow myself up on my own trapped box it would put me in stat.

If they die on a different sub-server then the game cannot "find" you to award the points. It takes special considerations for stuff to work across the whole shard and this is probably not worth the effort.

I know if you take more dmg from an oj before you die on either a trap or gw, you go into stats and lose a point. Not sure itd be different for a trapped box. I know you go into stats at the very least.

Thats not always the case with traps. GW is also weird. I've blessed an orange player who was also red by accident and it got me guard whacked and i went into stat and lost the points. I hadn't taken or dealt any damage from him lol.

True, seems I always do though lol. I don't know how many points I've lost from accidently clicking a blue NPC during a raid. rolleyes:

dude I've died hundreds of times raiding on my red necro when I got guard whacked because my poison strike hit a blue npc. Drove me crazy.

It has to do with flagging, with the guards. Criminal, combat, whatever. No flag, no stat.

I think it should put you into stat loss, I guess I'm not too passionate about it because it has never happened to people I fight. Then again, we usually synch our spells pretty well so most don't have a chance to pop a box.

I also really don't care about points too much, as long as I have enough to hold rank 10 I could care less.

Why oh why was this changed? Now people are running around with explosion boxes and killing themselves when they are sure to die. I guess I better get out my tinker and make some for myself.

I cant count the times I've bolted out of an enemy base with a sig, barely surviving with 5-10 hp left. Screw explosion crates. I see plenty of people "certain to die" live. Screw explosion crates.

We dont care about points either, our guild has the most points by over 200. The fact is these kids are cowarding out and know that they get owned every fight they come to and instead of even attempting to get away/live, when they reach just under half life they'll blow themselves up.
