OK, so if this question has already been answered someone can just direct me to the post...
My question is to how a fish type is generated when you fish. Obviously there is a check to as to the location of the water tile (dungeon, deep water, or shore) and whether the 8x8 tile location has been fished out. So... do the fish generate within the 8x8 tile and wait to be fished out? or is the roll done when the fishing attempt is made to determine the fish type?
Example:
8x8 dungeon fishing tile set spawns 16 fish: x type A, Y type B, and so on... thus the type of fish that can be caught on that tile are predetermined before any fishing attempt is made.
or: 8x8 dungeon fishing tile set spawns 16 fishing attempts with each attempt a roll to determine fish type A, B, C and so on?
