Final Fantasy XI Newsletter Issue 29
Players have been testing their mettle in dungeons of their own design ever since the introduction of Moblin Maze Mongers in late December. Challenging their own dungeons in new and exciting ways, like notorious monster hunting, engaging in new forms of synthesis regimes, or simply exterminating large swarms of foes, adventurers seem to be enjoying the new system!
The community site forums have been abuzz with strategies and brainstorming. Players are devising was to maximize the marbles and experience points they earn, as well as experimenting with various Maze Vouchers and Runes to earn new exclusive equipment!

The Community Profiles: My Life in Vana'diel
James "Milkman" Mielke is once again transcribing his every step in Vana'diel for the community to enjoy. In the latest update, Milk talks about why he's leveling his 4th character instead of focusing on his other characters. He mentions how the changes that the development team has made to FFXI over the past few years have made leveling a largely more enjoyable experience and how much fun he's having leveling with his friends, regardless of level differences.
