Hey folks!

Posted here a few weeks back about ideas on a messy, run-down library. Well, I think I'm getting there, but I'd appreciate your tips, feedback, pointers or info about any other items you knowledgeable folk think would look good in here.

Still hoping to get my sticky mitts on another couple of the "full" bookcases, and a couple more small spiderwebs just to finish off the look.

Looks great .. you may have even changed my mind on the rugs/carpets ... i have been ignoring them, without checking them out really i guess ;-) may have to snag a couple now

one thought, as i am always looking for ways to hide unsightly teleporters heh ... a pile o' books in the corner?

thats just me though ;-)

Glad I'm not alone thinking of hiding the unsightly teleporters. Unless you build in Sandstone I just don't like them... wish they were more like the blue glowy runes... and went "over" tiles.... so you could keep your "look" and feel better... But maybe that's just me.

I'll try a pile of books on the teleporter and see if it still works Just wish I could bring myself to recustomise and put in stairs, but I think I'd cry upon opening the moving crate :O

You could cover the teleporter with a goza (cloth dyed to match the room before you craft it) OR you could cover it with a piece of rug from the new quests that are coming out with SA.

Oooh good point! I like that much better, hopefully I can find a little one to match the colour of the cinnamon fancies I've got in there already

If you have a tailor, just get some cloth (enough for several different colored square gozas.. they take 25 cloth each I believe) and a dye tub. Dye several stacks of 25 cloth different variations of colors you think may match, then craft them into gozas. Place each different color in the room to see which matches the best.
