Correctly titled "Fear Essence"


Has anyone actually gotten these to work?

I tried to use them on PCs and I get the message "you resist..."
Even on characters with no resist.

I tried to use them on NPCs (MOBs) and there was no visible effect.


Can anyone help me out?

I must be missing something. I even tried using it on myself (I "resisted").

i tested them pretty extensively when they 1st came out

they have a very high chance to resist, but resist does seem to effect them

the only way they seemed even half way decent was for the user to have alchemy, and the victim to have no resist

even then the resist rate was too high to make them viable in pvp

Here are a couple things to try.. Use a 25% Potion jewelry on and alchemist. Also try them after an evil omen, as this lowers resist.

works great on monsters. I use em at primeval a lot. its area based so the more the merrier.

And what happened?
I have 50EP and alchemy and haven't had one trigger on a PC yet.

I went to doom and threw one at a slew of MOBs that were chasing me and they just kept on chasing.
