FCB Oceania - Guild House Grand Opening!

Hail and well met citizens of Oceania!

Allow me to intorduce myself, my name is Richard, and Im the new Fleet Master for the Oceania Branch of the FCB, the Fishing Council of Britannia!

Having recently finished development of the new Guild House, I will be firstly throwing wide our doors for recruitment! If you have a fisher, and wish to get out on the seas more to do battle with serpents and fish the treasure from the oceanfloors, send me a message via these forums, or via ICQ on 463-478-583.

(Below) The first floor of the new Oceanian FCB Branch guild house.



Secondly I would like to announce an upcoming Quiz Night and Net Toss, date to be advised. Total prize pool for the quiz is around 5million gold, with the highest single prize being a 1million gold check! Organise a team, or come along solo and take on all other contenders, the choice is yours!

(Below) The Quiz room. Inside each coloured chest is a check for varying amounts, anywhere from 5k gold up to 1million! Answer a question correctly and pick a chest, its that easy!



More news to follow as concrete dates are set!

The guild house looks great and net tosses are fun for even those who aren't cool enough to fish for a living.

On behalf of the local chapter of the Britannian Society of Chefs, welcome to our shores and/or seas. I'd also like to extend an invitation for FCB to join the Oceania Alliance if you're not already allied with anyone here. Toss me a PM if you're interested.

Richard is a nice enough sort of fellow I guess. Likes to drink a little bit though. Cant say I blame him, sitting out on a boat all day and night, with no-one to talk to but himself.

I remember the FCB quite well as the initials matched the First Chapeter of Britannia back in the day. :)

Hey mate good job on the guild house. what sort of nets are you planning on using for the toss? i have 21 plain ones that you can have if youd like them :) if you see me in game give me a hoy

I just found this post and a) wanted to know if you are still on Oceania and b) if you are at all interested in the fishing contest that PoC will be hosting in september.
