I average about four chests in an hour - certainly fastest with a sampire - some days a little better,, some a little worse - luck does not seem to matter on the chest drop rate

I think it makes a huge difference. I have extensively farmed Greater Dragons in Tram and Fel and there is no comparison at all in my opinion. Fel is 1000x stronger loot on average

I think the hype about Legendaries is a bit overrated. I see tons of Legendaries that are not worth mentioning (I see vendors where nearly hundreds of them lurk around). In some rare cases, even major magic items may be better compared to those "low performance legendaries" you often find. Really good pieces are also rare (dmg eater, stam inc 10, lmc 10 etc. etc.).

If u have some good pieces, it means that u really need a lot of space to store the rest . And the "good" pieces is more a fetish thing, not a need. You can easily build a decent suit without legendaries, and you will easily meet most of the hard caps you can reach by doing so. Does your performance will rely on those few extra percent stamina you will add by using a +10 stam legendary instead of that +8 stam major? Or whatever?

Nope. As I said, it's more a fetish thing of shinys, not a need.
