Faction Buy Back Proposal

This is Siege Perilous so let me start off by saying what you loot is yours to do what you will. But in light of reading some responses on Stratics and in general chat; I'd like to propose this:

Faction buy backs

-[Faction Items]: Rank 1 - 5k, Rank 4 - 10k, Rank 7 - 15k, Rank 9 - 20k, Rank 10 - 25k
-Quiver of Infinities - 150k
-Mana Phasing Orbs - 50k
-Spell/Weapon Ward Sash's - 25k
-Int Boots: +4 - 300k, +3 - 200k, +2 - 100k
-Totem of the Voids - 200k
-Conjurer's Garb - 650k
-Shroud of the Condemned - 150k
-All other shrouds/Robes from Quests/Replicas - 200k
-Sammy Helms - 100k
-High End Imbued Items - 20k
-Bloodwood Spirit Talisman - 25k
-Orc Brute Talisman - 100k

If you oppose this that's fine. This is to help those wanting to PvP and can't afford the gold or time to do so. Please simply post Yay or Nay in this thread if you wish to participate.

*Note* I'm perfectly fine with 1:10 buy backs, but I thought this could help those less fortunate all while allowing the winner to make a buck-Until the DEVS decide to do something.

Thanks for posting it up. We will honor it. Hopefully more people will be encouraged to participate in factions/pvp now. This will keep the fighting going all night guys.

Hope people note how much easier THE PLAYER COMMUNITY is trying to make it for others to participate willingly in the faction pvp system here.

The main problem with the factions items are the name on them, that have to go.
Second, Imbuers need to be able to unraw them.

With that gone, we would not have all this buy back crying. If you want to loot your enemies, and you can't use the gear yourself, put it on your vendor and make some money from it.
If we could unraw it, it would be more fair to non faction fighting faction players.

I really would love to see Faction as whole gone from Siege, that would make it alot more fair for all.

And I hope we will see some good loot when we get the pirate stuff, something useful for imbuers.

This is definitely a step in the right direction but I think one even better would be to allow the looter to trade the item in for same item so he himself could wear it. But as I said this is definitely a step in the right direction but not the end imo.

That's usually because it is more than one looter and without your name being on it the chances are you will never see those items again. This is what makes it hard for the non faction player.

5k Silver = 5k Gold
10k Silver = 10k Gold
15k Silver = 15k Gold
20k Silver = 20k Gold
25k Silver = 25k Gold

Imbued armor 20k tops depending on intensity.

Not for sure if this is still a problem.....but I would recommend having a consolidated vendor for each guild. I've seen players get upset because their not able to find their items for buyback. Seems like few players don't place items on vendor same day and guildmates never know who looted what.

Just a suggestion......hate to see someone getting pissed and ruin the buyback system. Seems like someones temper always messes things up.

We could communicate better that's for sure. It's easier for us to throw on separate vendors, because all of ours are pretty much in the same vendor house, or adjacent to it.

But yes, people should agree to get them on vendor after said fight. I personally, won't hold a grudge being I have a couple suits ready to go and you all should too so this doesn't **** anyone off when they don't get items right away.

Hopefully it works out for the best. We would love to see more people on the field and maybe less *cough* stealthers and/tamers.

Multi looters shouldnt be a prob most grps are tight and the prices are pretty obvious. 20 min intervals between fights gives enough time to toss on vendors.


BTW forsaken Diablo will not agree to this so we will reform a new guild minus him if that is what it comes down to...im not gunna deal with micro managing guild members everyone is old enough to see what people are trying to accomplish here.

I gotta say removing faction items would make things worse on seige. I used to feel your way, but have looked at it from a step back. How rich are you? How rich is the average player? If they remove faction gear, that means the current faction players, wanting to keep templates will be going for the real arties, and making up the bit of difference between them, on jewels etc. This means the rich, or the killers will have all the arties. Then see what they are worth? Try and buy one, when the Faction PvPers are hording them. Good luck. Then your down to what supply you have, or can farm up. And when the Faction players kill you, they use the gear instead. Eventually, those will all the arties, control the shard completely.

Remove name tags, and make them not dyeable. Then every faction player can use them. But this will also create more required farming, for those that keep dieing, as the good PvPers stock up, and fill castles with Arties. Either way, its not gonna change.

Best thing to ask for is unravel, as this will reward you with a relic or two if you kill a factioner, and people with rediculas silver amounts, will flood the market with relics, making it easier for better gear to be made.

That and maybe remove the faction bonus from arties, so they are the same as real.

I will sell suits back for sakes following prices but as Silver goes imo it should remain the same its still a bit&& to farm the stuff so my "silver" will remain at 20 per but armor will be sold at his said prices.

OK I also like to add this isnt a "we want factions" or "factions should be removed" post...this was offered after a long discussion in general chat this morning between people WHO ACTUALLY PLAY AND PVP ON SIEGE...we dont care if you like factions or dont like factions. You either agree and be glad players are moving towards the right direction where devs will not or you dont agree to it and spend your days posting here like trolls...QQing about how you wish it could be.


a simple yes or no to the proposal is fine.....we dont care about opinions ESPECIALLY if you just post on these forums with QQ about PVP..and never log into siege..

I'm sure if there was less dismount ganks, their might be less stealthers. I'm sure some of the non-elite PVPers would rather play a mage/ or casting temp, but rather not due to dismount ganks.

If this is a discrepancy we can discuss it here and agree on a price if you'd like. I kind if think they should be full price. These {Totems receive a faction dyed price loss (250k to 200k) and quivers can't be faction dyed} are my arguments.

Most of the dismount ganking is done by stealthers... stealth tamers or stealth archers............

And most of the dismounts seem to happen TO us. *sniffles* I'm pretty anti-dismount PvP...It's no fun, I rather just straight fight. But it's cool, to each his own and if we're fighting people that dismount us or have in the past, I'm sending Crunch and/Hugi their way! They do the dismount good now.

This buy back proposal works for some I suppose might depend on who you know. As for me I lost 2 suits to Diablo in the last week and have yet to see them for buy back or otherwise. So is this buy back only for some and not all? Inquierer wants to know!!
