since last patch you dont have to control a town to place traps inside a city?

just got killed by com traps who control zero sigils on GL

inside britain, no where near base. never been able to do that before, thought the devs should know.

I'm not sure where you've been playing, but that has been possible for as long as I've been in factions. At least the last 4 years or so, if not longer. There is no requirement to control the town to place traps, nor do they need to be placed near the base. They can be placed anywhere within the town limits.
