Guess ya just have to kinda wait and see what happens IF it happens and what it may do or not do regarding your own job.
My husband has gone thru one corporate buy over take over, mergers etc. over the years.
He began work for North Central Airlines...whom then bought out 3 smaller airlines...then it became Republic Airlines...then Northwest Orient bought em and took it all over...forming a MESS of unions, pay changes, insurance changes with that merger... also moving us and our home residency all over USA with each merger, to remain employed, but he stayed employed all those years for *wtf* airline are we today ? !
This last take over he finally decided to tell em to take their job and shove it and went self employed in RETIREMENT mode rather than work for Delta whom he called Delay Everyone Later Thru All ...flights... Airlines !
He is still working at ...his age he retired got himself licensed now, to drive brand new buses and brand new big rigs from factories where these are made, to deliver em, to their new buyers, all over the continent.
He is having fun, working this sort of job now instead, still makin money & ...being his OWN BOSS !
So never give up...always something or someone ELSE to work for even..for yourself ! Just gotta be creative and sometimes re equip yourself with brand new jobs skills if need be, and/or massively patient with corporate takeovers and buyouts, mergers and BS till ya had enough to tell em to shove it and go off makin money on your own !
