I would not call these extremely rare. These were available on all the shards in like 2008 range. They were around for a few weeks as well. No clue what they go for now but I gave 50m for one like two years ago.

There were quite a few different hues. If I am remebering correctly there were even some pink hued ones.

Was no real reason to slaughter bunnies to get them really. I mean they were all over the place at that time. What makes them a rarity is not many people tamed any of them or kept them.there were purples and pinks and neon purple. The neon purple ones are more rare. i dunno on chesapeake there were people slaughtering bunnies to try to get one to spawn i remember that very vividly. People wanted the neon ones and were very murder squad about it.

Sold one for an offer I couldn't refuse, have one left.
Thinking about holding on to my last one but again, if i get another strong offer will consider letting it go.
Had someone discord message a great question but couldn't answer since I'm not as experienced in taming and the new training system as well as others.
Perhaps a professional tamer can answer, if these can be trained up to use for pvp? Killer purple rabbits would be pretty cool!

Two year ago I found & tamed a pink one roaming free in ATL Moonglow. Sould still have it in that 'toon Stable...

either you got very lucky and snagged one that someone released, or the Devs accidentally popped that content back on for a while. They do tend to do that very thin on occasion.... with Easter right around the corner I wonder if that will happen again

The funny thing is that it has 2/2 Manas. I don't remember it was trained or not...

After looking through more character's stables, found this little guy
This is the brighter/neon purple color
I will consider letting this cutie go as well for another strong offer
Still have the 1 darker purple, they are both available on ATL

I don't know how to obtain the Hue of a creature...
The normal in game 'Interior Decorator' has that function now. Hit "Get Hue" then target item.
