I am excited for tomorrows FOF, hope to find out some good info on whats upcoming.. Dev's I had a blast fighting Melissa and doing the quest that went along with pub 54, Great Job!! And I can't wait to see what you all have in store next for 55. Hopefully tomorrows FOF will bring us closer to 55 and have some good info.

I'm hoping FoF will be really good too, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I find that when I get my hopes up, I set unrealistic expectations on the dev team and that just makes me grumpy. I like being happy, so I'll just hope it's interesting and see what happens

As for the event, minus the ease of 25k tickets, its been great. I like the strangers just stopped with little warning. I think more of that should happen in the UO world. Things need to come and go.

Will also be nice to know how many accounts were banned. The banning is the biggest event over the last 6 months since the burning of the luna houses and the response (could be more timely) to one of the biggest player's concerns - exploits/cheats in UO. I think the topic deserves more detailed info from dev.

2. How many secures will a chest hold? Jeremy- That would be 125

4. Jeremy-This isn't quite FOF have a good weekend.

Next town hall meeting is in hawaii where I will be consuming lots of beverages and discussing no important details of ultima online.

Wow.... Well I guess if you're going to dream, then dream big!.... As for me I'm sure hopeful that they will say something of some significance worth more than a yawn. But I highly doubt it. Given that even the boards consist of 90% posts about bannings, the profession on innocence and complaints of folk NOT getting banned when others think they should, I am beginning to wonder why I read the boards anymore.

Used to be I would read them so I could assist folk with questions about the game. Or I would read them to find out something new about the game that I didn't know, some fantastic new discovery, such as the making of an origami fish, or that blaze colored liquor fire bomb... However posts of that nature are fewer and fewer and harder to find...

Sometimes ask myself why I still bother coming here.

I must be getting old ... I remember a time that doesn't seem that long ago where there was no FoF at all. FoF has always been for clarification or broadcasting things said on forums. I don't remember FoF ever being news ... it's just that since new chapters of live events used to start on Fridays, it tended to coincide with news.

Your not getting old. They have always been crap and it's a rare occasion when useful. I still have no idea why there is an announcement of weekly game details when there is not weekly game changes. The FoF has never made any sense.

um ... that's not quite what I meant.

FoF is a heartbeat. All else failing, it gives us a nod of "yes, we're still here; don't panic". And if I remember correctly, one of the motivators was merely complaints that not everyone was seeing the information that devs sometimes provided players in answers to questions on boards. But somewhere along the way, expectations on this board have morphed and the FoF is being treated as a lightning rod for all the anxieties and frustrations people have.

I remember when Wilki started the FOF. I know I was one of probably quite a few people who repeatedly asked for EA to do a "Grab Bag" like Sanya did for Mythic.

When FOF debuted, I seem to remember it being pretty good. The content quality has dropped a lot since then. I don't blame Jeremy for that personally, as I'm sure it has more to do with corporate politics. I think EA is afraid if they give up their UO seekrets, the terrorists will win.

Oh well. I am hoping for some real news today though.
