Well week 2 went far better than the first week...in fact a little too well. We had soo many people show up that many were left out due to the restriction that only the people within the party group could enter the Medusa area and more than 10 [ the party limit] showed up. I must apologize for that as we did not expect such a turnout. Hopefully next time we can have something everyone can participate in.
Attempt One:
Of the party group that left for the abyss, only 5 made it into the actual spawn area. Others were left out, either by not making it through the gate or not having proper access. We lost one from having to leave early and another being unable to rez at the altar. The remaining three tried relentlessly but we just couldn't do it with the mix of templates there.
Attempt Two:
By this time most had left and there were just 3 of us to retry. [This time all tamers]. We were able to kill Medusa. Unfortunately, the loot seemed very minimal for the work.
