Does the rift benefit you're talking about above apply to the whole account? Or per character?

From Draconi's post on page 2:

7. Character. More things will reveal themselves in the timerift over the coming weeks. Think Magincia.


Will you please remove the spell-blocking and casting effects put into place around the rift entrance? Not only did this prevent my character from recalling out at the rift location forcing him to wander around, it also prevented him from casting heal or cure spells, or even resurrection. It is poor planning on the Devs part when I have to tell the ghost to move down screen a bit so they can get ressed.

Obviously you weren't there on day 1. It's not that big of a deal to move down a screen to the bank to rez. Everyone is doing it.

15. Why no Bersekrers on LS? Are we doing something wrong? Did you all forget to flip the switch? Does it matter?

16. You say the Shadowlords are "loose?" That doesn't sound good. Have we known this since the Candle of Love event? Or is this a new revelation, perhaps the result of that idiot Kronos blowing a hole in the fabric of reality?

17. How's the whole marriage thing so far? (That was you, wasn't it? I forget things sometimes.)

If you noticed the ring of "yellow" named people around the gate, and happened to bring another char *i did* than the first day. the yellow's were the people that should up on friday.

I asked about this in another thread and got no answer. I haven't once seen any yellow named people in either instance of moonglow and I was there on the first day. Could you tell me where these "yellow people" might be located.

When the machine fizzled on day one, it took a snapshot of the situation in Moonglow at the time. The players, animals, NPCs, looked like pretty much everything nearby.

When the timelord created the shifted Moonglow there were initially un-moving yellow highlighed copies of everyone that was present the day before. During the course of the "event" that I couldn't see or hear what was going on they started to dissappear. I don't believe any are left now.

No idea why they were there or why they vanished. But I do know it wasn't entirely accurate...I couldn't find myself among the copies and I remember exactly where I was standing. I was inside the area that was fenced off the second night, though...so maybe people too close got excluded even though they were actually there.

18. People are speculating that attacking the fallen warriors is an "evil" act and that in doing so we have chosen a loyalty. Is this right? If so, why are they attacking us first and why do we not lose Karma?

19. How about providing us soon with a sage NPC that puts things in some context or explains things at least partly? Someone we can like and trust (so not anyone involved with the Blackrock detector project).

How about this for a laff

Put one of the robes on a vendor. I really want to know if they also attack creatures as a result - as well as losing health (which they do!!!)

Right now? Many, many thanks, for answering on these issues, for communicating with us so often and so effectively during this event, and of course for an event that's been a lot of fun thus far.

ps: My personal particular thanks on answering on the Fallen Warrior issue. That's actually what I had thought....These are once-good, now-evil critters. Hence, no Karma loss (because they are evil now), and no Karma gain (they were enslaved somehow, or were tortured into submission, like Fire Steeds or Dread Horn or Lady Melisande).


EDIT: Oh come on dude, marriage isn't that bad, is it?

Since you guys work together, how do you swing having some alone time?

ha! Galen...plenty of reds attack Airmid! I think word got around that I always keep lootable goodies in my backpack especially for the lost boys (&amp; gals). Just going with the giggles I gave myself realizing I was in Fel with a cursed corrupted garment....on an alt mind you *winks*

Airmid would never play with blackrock *coughs*

PS: Thank you Draconi and all the Dev Elves for conjuring up yet another creative and adventurous event!!

Yep.

I also never found the yellow copy of myself. When the machine went off I had moved closer to be able to hear...EA still doesn't seem to realize their own code seriously limits how far speech will carry in a crowded area...I was inside the area that on the second day was fenced off. So were a lot of people. I noticed that in the copied Moonglow everyone that had been inside the now fenced area wasn't copied...so maybe that has something to do with it.

Has anyone figured out the significance of the Black Flame that appears after one of the angels dies? After one died a black fireball was launched from the corpse and hit me. At least I am pretty sure that is what happened. I killed a couple more but it didn't happen again.

I'ts been noticed that when there's smoke, there's something to loot, and when there's not, nothing to loot.

I haven't had the chance to really thoroughly test this, but did notice a couple of times that this did seem to coincide.

Seen it happen, dunno why it does yet, though. Thought for awhile that happened if the corpse had a planesword on it...but later that idea was proved false.

It kinda makes me nervous, though.....seems like something nasty is leaving the fallen warrior and entering whoever killed it.

yes I would like to redeem my soul for being at work, rather than be at a bigger and bigger disadvantage to those who weren't. lol. I am sure (thinks hard) that not only the people there on friday will continue to get all these 'continuing and expanding benefits' over the coming weeks. It kinda sounds like I'll get left in the dust as it goes on because I couldn't be there at a specific real world time. Probably not, right? heh heh.

Its not always when they die, ive noticed the black smoke/cloud coming and getting me but nothing specific happens to me and i wasnt actively attacking the one it came from.
