6/20/2019 – The Rangers Guild received a cryptic letter from an unknown sender in Jhelom saying that their assistance was desperately needed in Jhelom. Meeting at the southern docks, the rangers encountered their strangely knowledgeable friend Jonny, who seemed quite sad about something. The Brothers in Arms, know weakened from the loss of the Viper Gang lab that was supplying them with dream venom was now vulnerable to a secret temporary alliance that Jonny learned had been formed between the Brothers in Arms two rivals, the Hand of Death and the Library of Scars. Vasuki and Rufus, seeing an opportunity to assault the out of control school, were preparing to attack even as Jonny spoke. Seeming desperate to save the wayward school, Jonny asked the rangers to seek out Keith at the pub and inform him of the coming attack, as he had the best chance of anyone to warn Rolf.
Following Jonny’s advice, the rangers told Keith the news, who in turn wasted no time in hastily running to the Brothers in Arms headquarters to speak to the disgruntled headmaster. Though Rolf was still quite cross with Keith, he listened carefully when Keith spoke of the imminent attack. Still, Rolf and his brothers were vulnerable, still suffering the effects of withdrawal from the dream venom. Keith and the rangers had no choice but to take up the defenses themselves.
Barely any time had passed before the first wave of rival students descended upon the school. The rangers fought valiantly as wave after wave sought their opportunity to take down the weakened school, but ultimately were held back. As the last wave fell, Vasuki himself appeared, somewhat perplexed that the rangers had somehow learned of what were tightly-secretive plans. Nevertheless, the headmaster seemed impressed with their efforts, and sent some of his star pupils to ravage the party, at that point exhausted from the lengthy battle.
