Europa player looking for info!

Hi folks, I'm a long term uo player based in europa but have been thinking of coming over to atlantic due to the bigger community there and the dwindling community over here. My question is how many folks over here are in fact euro players and of those how many find the connection speeds bearable , particularly in pvp? i have come over a few times on transfers but been too impatient to get my goods back to ole europa to really test the scene with a fully developed character. From what i have seen the connection seems fine but would appreciate any feedback from other players in my kind of situation!

Eyup, I've been playing on atlantic for many years. I'm from England so I guess I fall into the european category hurrah!

I came to Atlantic for the same reason as you originally. The lag is absoloutely fine - infact sometimes it runs faster for me than in Europa.

The only slight drawback is that because its an American server, everyone works in EST whereas we're say five or six hours ahead. GMT is +5 hours to EST, so the peak hour around 9pm for EST will end up being 2am for me. But I'm generally ok with that, and its still pretty decently crowded in late evening for me anyway. Plus I'm still often quite busy doing stuff in early evening so in a way it actually works out better for me than in Europa.

There's quite a lot of Brits that play here. I know of a few currently playing, and there used to be a whole contingency of us a year or two back which helped form a big alliance between a lot of guilds run by people on stratics today.

I am in germany, i dont lag much at all i run DSL 16k and it seems to work fine.
Granted i dont pvp but i can outrun most of the mobs when i need to
